Tuesdays Twisted Challenge- Pyramid Fun

Tuedays Twisted Challenge graphicToday we are taking a break from the cardio and doing a total body workout with just your body. It will get your heart rate up so there will be some cardio benefit to this workout as well!

Today’s Twisted Challenge is a Pyramid Workout. Start at the top and work your way down. Depending on how long it takes you, can work your way back up to get an even better workout! I also did a video at the bottom of the exercises in case you are unsure of what they are.

Tuesdays Twisted Challenge- Jumping Jack Challenge

I just went out for lunch with my husband and had a burger WITH a bun followed by a latte at Starbucks and one of their big chocolate caramels. Needless to say, I need to burn a lot of calories in not a lot of time, since its already almost 3pm!!

I will be doing this soon and posting my time, but would love to see what you can do as well!!

Tuesday’s Twisted Challenge- Twisted Tabatas

I made this up this morning and did it AFTER I did Jillian’s Michals 20 Min Kickboxing video. (Still shaking and sweating!) That was my warm up. But after the tabata workout, I wanted to die.. maybe Ill even post some of THAT below. 😉

I hope you accept my challenge and try this out yourself! Remember it not how well you do it, its that you DID it at all!! There are ways to modify if you want and its ONLY 10 minutes!

You gotta get up and MOVE!!!

This time of the year it’s always hard to keep moving and in a good way! Not only does it get cold out (at least around here) which makes it less likely for you to get outside and be active, but we get so busy with the holidays, we forget to take time for ourselves.

On Tuesdays, it’s my day to sit and get all my computer work done. I could very easily sit here for hours and hours with out getting up to move, BUT I don’t, I plan for every Tuesday at 11 and 5pm to do something. Today I started out with some INSANITY warm up, followed by some intervals on the treadmill. Now If I didn’t plan it in there, I know I wouldn’t do it. Not only does it get me up and moving, but it helps me to work better. A nice 30 min break every now and then is a GOOD thing and keeps your brain fresh!

It was good and I got nice and sweaty. 🙂
